The Fiat Justitia (Let Justice be Done) crest can be seen on preliminary designs of Australian yen from 1944. Allied military occupation currency was proposed for an Allied invasion of Japan in World War II. The unique crest has been faithfully reproduced from hand-drawn designs discovered in the Reserve Bank (formally the Commonwealth Bank) archives.
This is a must for collectors of Japanese Invasion Money from World War II.
